This Valentine’s Day gave us another reason to love Milwaukee. On Friday, February 14, 310W invited singles, couples, and families alike to spread the love down Wisconsin Avenue as part of MKE Downtown BID’s “I Love Milwaukee” campaign.
Welcoming guests to the building, a specially crafted LOVE-seat ice sculpture was on display in our plaza. The ice was in no danger of melting all day as the temperature dropped close to zero, herding other activities indoors to the atrium for games and sweet treats. This was a great opportunity to invite the public to see our incredible 14-story atrium, new glass skylight and recent art installations.
Inside the atrium, free heart-shaped donuts and hot chocolate (courtesy of Dunkin’ Westown) warmed our hands and postcards sent with love (courtesy of VISIT Milwaukee) warmed our hearts. Street games like giant Jenga and giant chess made 310W the liveliest place in the city.
Many thanks to Milwaukee Downtown | Business Improvement District 21 and Westown Association for staging this lovefest.
Whether it’s our plaza or atrium, 310W is one of Westown’s most exciting community gathering spots. This year’s “I Love Milwaukee” event was a huge success in bringing together the neighbors, tenants, and our vision for the future. We’re more than happy to spread the word – and the love.
