Trying to find a good work-life balance has become a challenge in the way we run our lives today. While we find time to eat and work, too many of us cannot find time to make it to the gym. Because businesses recognize this, gyms are popping up more and more in our workspaces because it leads to lower healthcare costs, better productivity, less stress and fosters better teamwork. According to a study done by the Journal of Occupational and Environmental Science, working out just 2.5 hours a week led to a noticeable reduction in absences from work. Gyms are not just a perk, but now it’s a way to ensure employees are happy and motivated.

To create a better work-life balance for all of our tenants, 310W is currently undergoing remodeling to add a state-of-the-art fitness center. The space will feature aerobic machines, weights, bands and balance balls, as well as an open workout area and lounge. This new addition is expected to be up and running (no pun intended) in the next year.
